Ok, so the thing with importing my old posts is NOT going well. Bygones. I’ve been rather engrossed in my CADD class this semester and haven’t even had a chance to post here in a long while. So without looking back, and without further ado, I push on.
CADD is going great. GREAT! I’m lovin’ it. We’re on our last project of the semester and it’s a group project. I’m really looking forward to it. I’m doing the floor plan and I’ve spent most of the weekend toying with it. Actually, I think I may have it done. That is, until my prof gets ahold of it, and that’s cool. He hasn’t exactly given us the keys to the kingdom, so getting inside has been more like breaking and entering.
I look forward to his critique. Bring it on!
So with 3 weeks to go til class adjourns, I’m hoping my jump on the phase one of the project will put me in a good spot to a) finish my portfolio and b) assist the other groupmates.
And on super good news, I got a job offer. I got a job offer!! <big grin> I’m only halfway through my certificate course. They did not care. I am so lovin’ it. Unfortunately, I couldn’t accept the very lovely job offer, but I am still stoked I got it.
I have learned so many cool things this semester. I can’t wait to get to the next class.
